“Being pregnant during COVID added major additional stress and uncertainty to our birth experience, and Marie was calm, warm, knowledgable, and solution-focused every step of the way. She was flexible as our hospital went back and forth on virtual and in-person doula support policies, made herself available in person and virtually to work through multiple plans for different scenarios, and did everything possible to help us feel prepared, supported, and in control no matter how many twists and turns we experienced along the way. She is super proactive and a fantastic communicator, without being overbearing.

Although ultimately she wasn't able to attend the birth because of our hospital's last-minute policy change during the pandemic, having her "on call" virtually helped me feel confident advocating for myself when things did not go as planned with our delivery and various interventions were proposed by my medical care team.
